About humantrafficking.se
This site exists for one simple reason: to make reliable information about human trafficking in Sweden easier to understand and easier to access.
Independent and non-commercial
Humantrafficking.se is an independent information and advocacy site. It is not a public authority, does not receive police reports and does not represent the organisations linked here. The site has no advertising and no commercial agenda.
Editorial principles
We prioritise verifiable information, clear primary sources and language that does not sensationalise people’s experiences. We avoid imagery and wording that reduce people to victims or reinforce stereotypes about human trafficking.
Sources and updates
Laws, support lines, institutional responsibilities and statistics can change. We therefore show sources and review dates. If our text differs from current information published by the responsible authority, the authority’s information should be used.
Support humantrafficking.se
Humantrafficking.se is funded without advertising. Voluntary contributions are used for the site’s running costs, such as web hosting, domain fees, technical maintenance, and the tools and services needed to keep the information accessible and up to date.
Contributions to humantrafficking.se support the operation of this website. They are not donations to victims of crime or to the support organisations linked from this site. If you would rather support organisations working directly with people affected by trafficking and exploitation, we encourage you to donate to those organisations directly.
A secure payment link for voluntary contributions will be added here before the donation function is opened.
Contact
A dedicated contact address will be added before publication. For safety and privacy reasons, the website should not be used to send sensitive personal information or urgent crime reports.
